Tools for the dissemination of information and interaction: web platforms in general, access to social networks, etc.

All these tools, services and software, etc., as well as all the necessary infrastructure (servers, databases, networks that support the tools, etc.) (hereinafter referred to as technological services) are the property of FUNITEC and in general terms they interact and are made available to users.
In the case of students, who are considered a specific profile of users, the technological services FUNITEC makes available are exclusively for educational purposes, and not for any other personal purposes.
FUNITEC informs users that it is their own responsibility:
To use FUNITEC's technological services responsibly.
Not to use the technological services to carry out illegal or unethical activities, or activities that harm the reputation of FUNITEC. This includes, among others, industrial espionage, sabotage, identity theft/impersonation and digital piracy.
Not to use these technological services to access or download inappropriate content. Among others, this includes content related to gambling, pornographic material, and in general, any materials that is discriminatory, abusive or offensive. Should the user access any such inappropriate content by accident, he/she must stop accessing the services immediately and inform a technological services representative.
To guard their own personal, non-transferable password, as well as any other medium that the centre provides the user for their identification to use technological services. Similarly, users must also log out of the equipment once they have finished. Should a third party gain access to any of these media, the user must communicate it immediately to a technological services representative.
Not to use technological services to download content, be it programmes, audiovisual material or other items, that violate the intellectual property of third parties, infringing copyright or usage rights. Similarly, users must not install any software for which FUNITEC does not hold a license.
To be especially alert to prevent malicious actions by third parties, such as actions to obtain credentials (phishing), or to install malware (viruses, Trojans, etc.), etc. In the event this happens, inform a technological services representative.
To use the resources they have access to responsibly and fairly. This means not using the technological services for activities beyond those for which they are designed, among others. Other examples include, but are not limited to, not using the technological services to actively seek out vulnerabilities in the services themselves, not taking advantage of vulnerabilities in the technological services to access information the user is not authorised to view, etc.
To keep abreast of any usage updates to technological services published by FUNITEC.
The responsibilities mentioned above are merely a summary of examples, and in no case represent an exhaustive list, as it is impossible to describe all potential situations. As such, users must interpret their responsibilities in the spirit in which they have been written (with an emphasis on the responsibility of users in their use of the technological services).
On the other hand, and in order to guarantee proper use of the technological services, FUNITEC informs users that:
It reserves the right to totally or partially restrict any technological service at any time and without prior notice, either collectively or on an individual basis.
It reserves the right to restrict access to inappropriate and/or specific sites and content.
It reserves the right to monitor the use that users make of technological services (among others, messaging and communication services, data network services, access to social networks, etc.). However, it may supervise the information and records, both present and past, generated by users and by any of its own technological systems. The supervision will be suitable, necessary, proportionate and justified.
It will guarantee the student´s access to their La Salle email mailbox (Office365) and all associated products (Office, OneDrive, Project, ...) for up to 6 months after completion or abandonment of studies. After this period, the existing content in Office365 products (email, OneDrive, ...) will be removed.
It is the student´s responsibility to safeguard this information before the expiration of the term, since it will not be possible to recover it afterwards for security reasons and in the interest of the owner.
In order for the owner of the e-mail account not to lose "new e-mails" that may be sent, a redirection to the personal e-mail will be created and recorded in the FUNITEC system.
It will guarantee the student's access to the contents of the subjects deposited in the LMS (Learning Management System) platform until the month of February for 2 courses after the completion of the course taken. For example, if the student takes the subject "X" during the academic year 01-02, he/she will be able to access its contents in the LMS until February 04 (academic year 03-04)
Additionally, FUNITEC informs users that irresponsible use of technological services, beyond any consequences that they may have in internal professional terms, may also have other consequences, in accordance with the legislation in force.
